Paragliding differs from parachute in the shape of the cloth that is larger and flatter and in the technique: first you don't need an airplane but you can jump off from the top of a hill, then the fall is very slow. Using ascensional currents the flight gets a sort of floating in the air that gives you time to look at the panorama and experience the freedom feeling.
