A pelican is a sea bird with a distinctive pouch under the beak used to capturing fishes. It belongs to the bird family Pelecanidae. It has white feathers that are made waterproofed using the oily secretion produced by preen glands. They usually eat fishes capturing them expanding their throat pouch. They live in colonies and both males and females incubate the eggs.
