The Solanaceae family includes vegetables plants such as tomato and vegetables mix and also flowering shrubs, used in garden and bed for decoration. The petunia has large trumpet-like white, pink, or purple flowers that bloom in spring and summer. The name petunia comes from word petun, meaning tobacco and coming from a South-America language: tobacco is in fact in the family of Solanaceae.
