Pillars are other than column since they have a more squared shape and have a simpler decoration. They are often employed to make a porch or for buildings. Here there are also pillars belonging to Hinduist temples snapped in India that are ornated with the faces of an idol resembling a monster: many pictures have been taken in Hampi and Mamallapuram.
