pinus pinaster

The pinus pinaster is a conifer typical of the Mediterranean forest vegetation diffused all along the coast of the Italy, in France Paris, Spain, North Africa. This evergreen tree has a conic head that turns to be flat and large in adult trees. Many images are taken during walks along path running close to the sea: as you can see the Mediterranean forest mix together with these pines. It is hard to recognize the pinus pinaster from the pinus pinea: the latter is agriculture for the food seeds contained in the pine cone.
