Pyrocumulus clouds are called also fire clouds since they form from fire phenomena or Haleakala volcano activity. When the air close to the ground is highly heated, the air mass rises because of convection. The photo in the category was taken in the Hawaii while sugar cane leaves were burnt in the field.
