These are pictures of trees roots: the more the trees is old the more they get deep, resistant and sinuous. There are also trees that have aerial roots such as the banyan. Roots have a fundamental function of preventing landslip, in fact this is a serious consequences of uncontrolled deforestation. Sometimes the roots are so long and wiggly that resemble a snake or an fish mix.
