stratocumulus castellanus

Cumulus castellanus are very large clouds whose main characteristic is the vertical development: they resemble medieval castle and crenellation. stratocumulus clouds are overlapped and create white towers high in the sky. They are similar to altocumulus clouds but are much larger and higher.
