
The thuja is a trees in the family of cupressaceae trees; it is also named arborvitae, trees of life, since it is an evergreen trees. Sometimes it is called white cedar though it is incorrect. The leaves are scale-like and bushy, the cones are very small: this plants is often used to make hedges in garden and parks. The foliage is food for some lepidoptera and deer.
