Here there are various images of arecaceae trees trunks: these trees are characterized by a long and slender trunk whose cork is different according to the species. The coconut palm leaves, when dry, chip away leaving the surface smooth; the sabal dry leaves fall down but the stem remains attached on the trunk making it rough and spiky.
