undertow

These photos are taken during a sea storm, when the rough sea is moved by high waves and big horses that wildly hit the beach; in the meanwhile a strong current flows underwater in the opposite direction. This is the undertow: many meters of the beach are covered by foam while other white crested waves run towards the strand.
