well

A well is a hole dug in the terrain containing water; using a pump or a bucket it is possible to obtain water. Wells were common in the country close to agriculture: to have a well close to cottage was once a big richness since there was not an hydraulic system that brought the water directly into the house types. They have a circular shape and are made of stone.
