Cortona is a Tuscan city close to Arezzo. It is located at the top of a hill: from here there are nice views of the surrounding countryside. It is very old. The historical center has Etruscan, Roman and Medieval traces. The Palazzo Comunale is located in the main square: it is the site of local market where typical and homemade products can be found. Many tourists love this city and Tuscany in general. Many foreigners celebrities have bought a house in this part of Italy. Spring and Autumn are the best period of the here to visit it: the country is full of colours, the atmosphere is very relaxing and people are friendly.
