Firmafede is a citadel rebuilt in the center of Sarzana during the Renaissance by Lorenzo il Magnifico. Today it is used for art exhibitions and cultural shows. It is surrounded by a ditch and joined to the other side by a lift bridges. The first fort was made by the city of Pisa in the Middle Ages. In the photos you can see the towers, merlons and bastions.
