Hampi is a village in northern Karnataka, in India, famous for having being the capital of Vijayanagara empire from fourteenth to seventeenth century. Today it is a religious center and a tourist place appreciated for its old temples and ruins. The main temple is named Virupaksha, but the whole valley is scattered of small and bigger fascinating temples.
