Senso-Ji is an ancient Buddhist temple situated in Asakusa, a central district of Tokyo. It is the oldest and biggest in the city, many faithful but also tourists go everyday to visit it. To reach the temple Japanese walk along a covered street road flanked by shop selling food and gadgets. You can see the main temple and the Five Store pagoda. Outside the sacred area there is an incenser and a fountain: water and smoke serve to purify visitors.
