The davidia or pigeon tree or handkerchief tree is a deciduous trees in the family of Cornaceae; these names comes from the fact that the white bracts moved by the wind resemble pigeon or handkerchiefs. It is native to China but is diffused also in other Asia countries and in Europe. These photos are taken in Java, an island in Indonesia.
