snake

Snakes belong like lizard to the order Squamata. They are cold blooded, legless and are sometimes venomous. Here there are specimens of boas, anacondas and sea snakes. Since their sight is not much developed they track their preys using the smell, the vibration sensitivity and the infrared-sensitive receptors located between the nostrils and the eyes.
